Lady of the Lake

The kingdom of the lady

Resides deep in the lake below

Dancing amid subtle currents

She protects what’s tried and true

Her palace of glitter and gold

Hidden from view in depths

Housing unknown tales of magic

That beckons us one and all

Protector of mythical sword

Guarding within her realm

Rising to offer to those

True in heart of knight

Swathed in gossamer silver

Her hair riding in the abyss

Looking deeply below

You can see her glowing mist

Surrounded in magic and lore

Existing to those who believe

She searches for the bearer

Who will take her task away

So if you are true in heart

And sit along the mythical tarn

You may receive a visit
